मुंबई। जम्मू-कश्मीर में शहीद हुए मेजर कौस्तुभ प्रकाश कुमार राणे का अंतिम संस्कार गुरुवार को किया जाएगा। इस दौरान मुंबई की सड़कों पर बेहद भावुक नजारा दिखा। यहां जिस मार्ग से शहीद की अंतिम यात्रा निकलेगी वहां लोग फूल बिछाकर स्थानीय मेजर कौस्तुभ को अपना आखिरी सलाम दे रहे हैं।जम्मू-कश्मीर के बांदीपोरा के गुरेज सेक्टर में 7 अगस्त को हुई आतंकियों के साथ मुठभेड़ के दौरान चार जवान भी शहीद हो गए थे। इस मुठभेड़ में स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर किसी बड़ी साजिश को अंजाम देने के लिए पाकिस्तान से घुसपैठ कर रहे दो आतंकियों को भी मार गिराया गया था।शहीद जवानों में मेजर कौस्तुभ भी शामिल थे। मुंबई निवासी कौस्तुभ का इसी साल प्रमोशन हुआ था और वह कैप्टन से मेजर बने थे। उनको श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए मुंबई की मीरा रोड पर स्थानीय लोगों ने पीले फूल बिछा दिए गए। इसी सड़क से कुछ ही देर में उनका काफिला यहीं से रवाना होगा।29 वर्षीय मेजर कौस्तुभ प्रकाश राणे की शहादत की खबर से मीरा रोड में मातम फैल गया है। शीतल नगर में उनके घर पर श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए लोगों का तांता लग गया। दुख की इस घड़ी में भी मेजर कौस्तुभ के पिता प्रकाश राणे ने कहा, ‘मेरा बेटा देश के काम आया है। वह बहादुरी दिखाकर शहीद हुआ।उत्तर कश्मीर के गुरेज सेक्टर में आतंकवादियों से लड़ते हुए मेजर कौस्तुभ के साथ ही तीन सिपाही मनदीप सिंह रावत, हमीर सिंह और विक्रम जीत भी शहीद हुए। शहीद जवानों को बुधवार को सेना द्वारा श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने के बाद उनके शवों को पैतृक गांव भेज दिया गया था।
